Smashbook: Collect moments, not things

It's been two weeks since I finished these two smashbook pages, but I never got to share them before, so here they are! Despite being Summer, I wanted to do something warm, cozy, something that reminded me of what I love most about autumn, and at the same time, something that felt as slow paced and as Summer days can be. Is not a color pallete I usually go for, but somehow for this I feel it worked.

  1. I love it! I love the colors and the overall rustic look. :)
I'm going to get into scrapbooking soon, so thank you for the inspiration!

  2. Nice! This definitely is reminiscent of autumn. Autumn is actually my favorite season, so--about this time every year--I start looking forward to cool nights, campfires, and beautiful foliage. The log cabin that you put in your journal looks amazing! I'd love to wake up there and be able to see the sun and the trees through those windows. Anyway, I've been getting more interested in a smashbook/"messy" journal. I haven't tested it out yet, but I think it's a creative and fun way to journal the way you're currently feeling. It's another version of a mood board.
